e+a started in this field more than 30 years ago. The majority of our motors are optimised to meet spindle manufacturers' requirements. Our partner uses e+a motor elements for manufacturing spindles for milling, grinding, drilling and turning machines.
Examples of machine tools containing spindle motors made from e+a motor elements:
- High-torque motors with several kNM
- Milling machines with more than 400 kW output
- Motors for grinding machines with speeds in excess of 200,000 rpm
- Circuit board drill spindle with speeds in excess of 250,000 rpm
- Processing centre with 100kW at speeds between 1,000 rpm and 12,000 rpm
